Do not assume a watch is waterproof. Water resistance varies by model, construction, seals, age, and service condition. Ask us about the specific product before exposing it to water.
Everyday Precautions
Avoid showers, swimming, diving, steam rooms, hot tubs, and high-pressure water unless the product has been specifically confirmed suitable for that use. Never operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet.
Care After Contact With Water
Dry the watch promptly with a soft cloth. If moisture appears beneath the crystal, stop wearing the watch and arrange inspection.
Straps and Chemicals
Leather straps, adhesives, finishes, and decorative components may be damaged by water, perfume, cosmetics, salt, or cleaning chemicals.
Testing and Maintenance
Water resistance can decrease over time. Periodic pressure testing by a qualified watch technician is recommended before water exposure.
